Our taper drill rods are manufactured in a variety of taper angles. Generally, light-duty rock drills utilize a 7° taper or smaller angles, while heavy-duty rock drills predominantly require 11° or 12° taper angles. It is essential for the taper drill rods and taper drill bits to share the same degree for optimal performance and safety.

Steel Grades: 95CrMo (equivalent to SANDBAR 20 or C253), Z708, Sanbar 23, 55SiMnMo.
Shank Sizes: Hex. 22mm × 108mm, 22mm × 159mm, 22mm × 80mm, 25mm × 108mm, 25mm × 159mm.
Taper Angles: 4°46', 6°, 7°, 11°, 12°, etc.
Length Options: Available from 0.4m to 10m.
Configuration: Full range of shank configurations and steel hex diameters for hand-held pneumatic drilling needs.
